Branden Pearson attended Oasis High School, a Cape Coral charter school, where he became the first student in Lee County's nearly 60-year JROTC history to earn the Legion of Valor Bronze Cross for Achievement — one of only two cadets in Florida and 48 nationwide to receive the honor in 2016.
